I am a full time professional REALTOR®. After obtaining my Georgia real estate license in early 2007, I joined Keller Williams Realty, the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. I was awarded the "Rookie of the Year" award after my first year and after my second year was asked to join the Agent Leadership Council. The ALC is comprised of some of the top performing agents in the office. On the ALC, I serve as the co-chair for the agent growth committee.
I live in Columbia County with my wife, our two wonderful sons and our two german shepherds. I am a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and moved to the Augusta area in 1992. Soon after moving to Georgia, I began a career in law enforcement which spanned almost 14 years between the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and the Thomson Police Department. Some aspects of the job I enjoyed the most were meeting and working with officers from other agencies as well the citizens I came into contact with while performing my duties.
As a deputy sheriff, I was highly dedicated to my job, my fellow officers, and the people I served. An officer must be very adaptive and intuitive, as no two days and no two people are ever alike. He or she must also be willing and able to work with people from all walks of life. Many times those people are in some of the most trying and difficult situations of their lives. As a deputy, I learned how to help those who many times did not understand or desire help. I learned how to control and diffuse stressful and sometimes very dangerous situations. As your Realtor, I will have that same dedication to you and will protect your real estate interests with equal determination.
